Q. How do I get Started?
A. We have made it as easy as it should be. Go to the tab at the top of the site – Actors - Find the actor you like. The ones at the top have already been selected by other customers – so if you choose one of them as a Group Project - you may get it sooner than the 7-10 business days we estimate.
Above the actor’s head is an Order link. Click on it and get started filling out the information that is needed to get you started. Once you submit your project we will get add your project to the booking schedule.
During the process you will be able to Log In to “My Order” and check on the status, date of shooting or even change your script.
When it is completed you will get an email with instructions on what to do next.
It is as easy as that!

Q. What is the difference in a Group Project and an Individual Project?
A. Great question!
This is one of the things that have set us apart from others.
In order to help you get a spokesperson on your site as inexpensive as possible, we realized that not everyone needs it done by yesterday. So we decided to make every one of our actors the same price- not just offer one or 2 at a special discount like others- but instead group all the orders together from other customers and have our actor shoot them all on the same day – reducing the cost for us and you! The turn around time in most cases will be 7-10 business days.
Now of course if you need it quicker we can call your actor in and just shoot your one project as an Individual Project and have it returned and ready to insert on your site within 2-3 business days.

Q. Besides charging for either a Group Project or an Individual Project – how else are you able keep the price down to only $159 for a 30 second video or $199 for a 60 second video?
A. Again, we tried to set up a service that would benefit the majority of website owners, and most just need the basic service- a professional actor that walks out on to their site and speaks to site visitors. Most do not need music, script writing and other bells and whistles. But everyone else charges you a high price in case you ask for anything past the usual and then tout it as free. Free music, free Closed Captioning, Free… you get the point. But it is not free- you are paying for it many times over whether you need it or not.
We offer all the same options but charge you a nominal fee for each you select. And even if you needed every bell and whistle possible – your total would still be less than others.

Q. How do I get the actor on my website once the video shoot is done?
A. When your Video Spokesperson is finished we will send you a short email so you can log into your project. There you will find a link to your control panel and instructions to add a java script to the html code on the webpage on which you want the spokesperson to appear.
Not only will you be able to place your spokesperson on your site but control sound levels, size and positioning of your spokesperson after it is on your site. And if you need to move it to a new site it will generate code for you to move it to a new location.

Q. Can we run the Yakking Heads video on my own server?
A. Sure, just choose that option before the first 14 days are up. That way you can test to see if it plays well from your server. If you would rather have it stream from our dedicated flash video server so that it loads fast and plays even faster you are only charged $5.00 a month for the next 12 months for a total of $60.00.

Q. Why are you charging me even $5.00 when others do not?
A. Our 60 second Video Spokesperson clips are priced well below what anyone else charges, in some cases even by $500.00 or more! We did not decide on a $5.00 hosting fee in order to become wealthy--this nominal fee assures us that we will not be required to host your videos longer than you need them.

Q. Can you provide me a YouTube Video, an AVI file, MPEG, or MOV file instead of a walk on video?
A. Absolutely. When you place your project with us let us know which format you want. The price is the same. If you want it delivered in more than one format, it is $50 more for each additional.

Q. Can it be set up to play only the first time someone visits the site?
A. Let’s go over the options. First, you choose whether you want your spokesperson to only play the first time a visitor hits the page during their visit or every time. You can also choose whether it plays as soon as a visitor hits the page or they have to hit a play button. Or you can choose when the spokesperson closes after it finishes talking or shrinks in size but remains with a click to play button for the visitor to play it over again if they choose. The options are many.

Q. What if I decide later I want it in a different format?
A. If you do make sure it is within 15 days. Each different format has to be processed from the raw video. And after 15 days your project files are deleted. We just cannot keep hundreds and thousands of large files stored for long periods of time. And they are huge! If it has been removed from storage you will have to start over again with a new project.

Q. What about other languages other than English?
A. On the actor page look for languages, you will find Spanish, French, Hindi and more including ASL ( American Sign Language) . You can choose to have your video made in any that we offer or choose 2 and a Bilingual Player. This will allow you to have 2 video spokesperson videos made in 2 different languages and give the site visitor control over the language they want to listen to. But you have to have 2 videos made as each is a separate project.
